Improving Accessibility in an Open-Source Wiki
This procedural document played a part in an Agile project management landscape where our team worked to improve PSU’s Technical Communication Topics Wiki. We conducted a usability test and user research test to assess how well the Wiki upholds digital accessibility standards according to WCAG 2.0. We used this procedure to add alt-text to existing, published pages, ensuring greater accessibility across the site. Using Trello to track progress and editing directly in the source code, I gained hands-on experience with open-source documentation practices.
